The conflict in the Middle East continues to escalate. Israeli forces have
crossed into Lebanon and begun a ground offensive targeting Hezbollah —
and Iran has responded by launching ballistic missiles at Israel.

As the fighting intensifies and danger spreads, Mercy Corps is reiterating
our call for an immediate ceasefire, protection of all civilians, the safe
return of all hostages, and safe access to humanitarian aid for people in
desperate need.

Our teams and partners are ramping up our support of civilians across Gaza
and Lebanon who face growing dangers from military attacks, displacement,
