Hi John,

OLCV is officially announcing our endorsements for the 2024 General Election! See all 98 of our endorsements by clicking here: [link removed]. If you need to double check which district you are in so you’re ready to vote for your endorsed candidates, check out the district map here! [[link removed]]

We've endorsed 3 pro-climate candidates in statewide races. Dan Rayfield for Attorney General: Dan is a proven environmental champ, with a lifetime OLCV score of 95%, who wants to hold polluters accountable when they spoil our air and drinking water. Tobias Read for Secretary of State: Tobias is yet another strong candidate for the environment, who developed the plan to conserve the Elliott State Forest and created a plan to make Oregon's pension fund net zero carbon emissions by 2050. And Elizabeth Steiner for State Treasurer: Elizabeth has a lifetime OLCV score of 89%, chief sponsored the COAL Act to phase out coal investments, and supported over $100 million in climate investment in Oregon.

We need a supermajority in the senate to help us pass the most climate-friendly, affordable, equitable, and safe transportation package that we can in 2025. We are just one seat shy of a pro-environment supermajority! We need to elect Anthony Broadman for Senate District 27 (Bend), who has been a strong transportation advocate on the Bend City Council. We also need to re-elect Senator Chris Gorsek for Senate District 25 (east Multnomah County), who is co-chair of the Joint Transportation Committee and has a 92% OLCV lifetime score.

We are also just one seat shy of a pro-environment supermajority in the State House, so we are working hard to protect vulnerable allies and champs, and pick up at least one other seat. OLCV is actively supporting eight House candidates through door knocking and volunteer recruitment efforts:
- Re-elect Rep. Tom Andersen for House District 19 (south Salem)
- Elect Lesly Muñoz for House District 22 (Woodburn)
- Re-elect Rep. Courtney Neron for House District 26 (Sherwood/Wilsonville)
- Elect April Dobson for House District 39 (Happy Valley)
- Re-elect Rep. Hoa Nguyen for House District 48 (Damascus)
- Re-elect Rep. Zach Hudson for House District 49 (Troutdale)
- Re-elect Rep. Ricki Ruiz for House District 50 (Gresham)
- Re-elect Rep. Emerson Levy for House District 53 (Redmond)

As I’m sure you already know, the weeks leading up to the election are crucial. This is when we need your support if these pro-environment candidates are going to be elected, so we can see the change that we want for our climate. To get ready for election day, make sure you are registered to vote by October 15th!
