If you've read any of our campaign emails lately, you know we've been working hard to reach an important end-of-quarter fundraising goal. The big deadline was Monday, and I'm happy to report that with your support, we met our goal.
The amount of time most elected officials spend on raising money is really disheartening. I’m so glad to know that grassroots supporters like you have my back so that I can do this work without corporate PACs.
We’re a people-powered movement, and it shows in our average online donation of just $39. Everyday people who pitch in what they can, when they can are the fuel that powers our movement, and it’s going to be thanks to you that we elect Kamala Harris, Tim Walz, and Democrats across the country this November.
But we still have just over a month to go until Election Day, and there’s more work to be done. My campaign is organizing here in Seattle and in swing states across the country. We’re even doing twice weekly phone banks with the Harris campaign to help get out the vote, because every single one is going to matter this year.
So thank you again, John — we couldn’t do this without you. Now let’s finish strong.
