Friend,
As the sun sets this evening, Jews across the country will gather
in community to mark the transition into holy time. Our tradition
tells us that tonight, something extraordinary will happen:
the gates will open, and we will be called to take stock of
the past year, both individually and collectively.
With my family, I will take this time to pause, reflect on my
shortcomings, and dig into what it takes to build a better and
brighter future for Jews and for all of us. Together, our Jewish
justice movement will recommit to building Olam HaBa, the
world to come, in 5785 and beyond.
I’m grateful for you, Friend, and wish you and
your loved ones a sweet year, a blessed year, and a year filled with
justice and peace.
Shana tova,
