The corrupt duopoly of war and Wall
Street have rigged the economy against workers. Over the past 50
years, real wages have stagnated while corporate profits have
skyrocketed. Soaring inflation, fueled by corporate greed, has driven
up the cost of living, far surpassing any modest wage gains working
people have won.
The Biden-Harris administration has
tried to sell itself as pro-union, but their actions tell another
story.
In December 2022, Biden signed legislation to break a rail
workers strike, a move that garnered wide bi-partisan support,
including self-described champion for the working class, Alexandria
Ocasio-Cortez. The deal ultimately left rail workers without any paid
sick leave, forcing workers to choose between their health and the
paychecks they need to keep a roof over their heads.
Only three months
later a catastrophic train derailment unleashed a toxic hell upon the
small town of East Palestine, Ohio, the consequences of which will be
felt for generations to come. The railroad bosses were given a green
light by the Biden-Harris administration to reap huge profits at the
expense of staffing and the repercussions were suffered not only by
the rail workers themselves, but also by the entire town of East
Palestine.
Jill and Butch will fight for all working people. Stein/Ware

“right to work for less” laws.
