Dear John,

I am excited to share our 2023 Annual Report. It highlights our ongoing commitment to producing rigorous evidence and accelerated efforts to progress evidence into impact to improve lives and reduce global poverty. It features the publication of the "Best Bets: Emerging Opportunities for Impact at Scale," a report which represents years of collaboration by hundreds of researchers, partners, and staff—whom I deeply appreciate. Last year, we generated evidence in under-researched areas like human trafficking and intimate partner violence, expanded our policy work to new regions, diversified our researcher network, and accelerated the use of evidence to drive real-world change.
