Do something special on this day of generosity and unity.

John,

#GivingTuesdayNow is about caring for one another. It's about taking a minute to make this troubled world a better place. And more than anything, it's about unity: people across the world, joining together and using our power to heal.

That's why I'm asking you to join me in an act of immense and important healing by supporting Families Belong Together on this special day.

Because at its core, our work at Families Belong Together is about healing. It's about reuniting families that were cruelly ripped apart at the border -- and making sure that every single child is safe, with the people who love them right now.

It's about welcoming those who come to the U.S. seeking safety and a better life, not locking them away in squalid and dangerous camps where many don't even have access to soap, a toothbrush, or a bed to sleep on.

It's about speaking out, saying NO to racism, xenophobia, and cruelty, and proving that we're stronger than those who cynically try to use the pandemic to divide us.

And it's about doing it together. Because the only way for us to get through this crisis is by caring for each other, and caring for those who need it most.

So if you're able, I urge you to please make a special gift to Families Belong Together in honor of #GivingTuesdayNow. Every single dollar you give will go straight to funding our work to reunite separated families, support immigrant communities, and build a more tolerant world today -- and beyond.

If you've saved your payment information with ActBlue Express, your donation will go through immediately.

Thank you so much for everything you do.

Sincerely,

Paola Luisi, Co-Director
