Vulnerable families need you.

LIRS
COVID-19
Dear LIRS Supporter,

Last summer, Luciana took her children and fled Venezuela, where a humanitarian crisis left the country with little food and rendered money worthless. Once in the U.S., she followed all the guidelines for resettlement — found a job, attended English classes, and made sure she could take care of her family's needs.

But due to COVID-19, her hours at the factory were drastically cut. To make ends meet, she found another job in the foodservice industry, but like many others during this time, she was soon laid off.

It's because of single moms like Luciana, and many others who've been affected by COVID-19, that today has been declared #GivingTuesdayNow — a day to come together to help those impacted by the pandemic.

Will you join this global movement by giving to the Neighbors In Need Campaign? Your gift will be matched 3X and can help provide cash assistance for food, rent, and other bills during a crisis.

3X Match My Gift
Even though Luciana worked two jobs and paid taxes, she isn't eligible for a stimulus check because she can't apply for a green card until she's been in the U.S. for one year. It's unlikely she can get another job until the pandemic restrictions are lifted.

And Luciana is just one of many refugees and immigrants who hold jobs in industries that have been stopped short by the coronavirus and now have no steady source of income.

But you can triple your impact on vulnerable families like Luciana's by making a generous gift to the Neighbors In Need Campaign. Your donation will be multiplied 3X up to our critical $50,000 goal!
Give Now to the Neighbors In Need Campaign
The pandemic has presented us with many unexpected challenges. But we can strive to help others in whatever ways we can. And today, I'm asking you to give what you can to help those who need it the most.

With much gratitude,
