Everytown for Gun Safety

Dear John,

Our lives might have been upended by the coronavirus crisis, but we won't let it upend our determination to end gun violence in America.

That's why Everytown for Gun Safety Action Fund with its volunteer networks Moms Demand Action and Students Demand Action are launching a $1.5 million student-led initiative to register 100,000 new Gun Sense voters. We're committed to registering young voters and increasing youth turnout in 2020 because we know that lives are on the line.

Fuel our effort with a donation today so we can turn out more young voters in 2020, change the course of the election, and continue to fight every day to end gun violence in this country.

Fuel Our Fight By Donating Today

Among other things, your donation will help us:

  • Hire organizers focused on registering voters in key battleground states
  • Establish virtual field offices, where students will gather to strategize how to meet voter registration goals
  • Pay for cutting edge organizing tools and technology for our virtual field offices
  • Train student volunteers in relational organizing, which involves leveraging people in their peer networks and encouraging them to vote. This organizing method has been proven to be more effective than traditional canvassing, allowing volunteers to register their friends, family, classmates, and acquaintances — all online
  • Develop online voter registration ads designed specifically for young people

We plan to register 100,000 young voters, with a focus on key battleground states including: Arizona, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Iowa, Michigan, Minnesota, Nevada, New Hampshire, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Texas, and Wisconsin.

I'm a college student myself and I had planned to use my spring semester to register voters on my campus. Instead, I'm home in Texas, but my drive to register more voters hasn't changed. My fellow student leaders and I are committed to hitting our goal of registering 100,000 young leaders before November. Can you help us make it a reality?

Help us register 100,000 new student voters, and fight year round to end gun violence in America, with a generous gift to Everytown for Gun Safety Action Fund today.
