Hi Friend,

We’re closing out year ten — and what a first decade it’s been!

Since hitting our tenth anniversary ([link removed]) milestone, we’ve been reflecting on what our work has meant for communities around the world. While we’ve always been data-driven, it’s not just about the numbers — it’s about the lives changed, opportunities created, and futures transformed.
* Our interventions have now reached 530M+ people – that’s more than the population of the European Union who have benefited from solutions proven to improve lives and health.
* Our safe water work has saved the lives of 15,000 children under five – the equivalent of four kids saved every day for the last decade.
* We’ve helped 320,000 pregnant women receive syphilis screening to protect them and their babies from the devastating effects of maternal syphilis. In just four months, we successfully completed training in Zambia of 850 facilities and 11,000 healthcare workers (a third of all facilities in the country!)
* In India, we helped dramatically expand anemia prevention efforts. Now, over 35 million children receive weekly supplements, a three-fold increase that is building healthier futures for a generation.
* Our deworming work has created an economic ripple effect, generating an astonishing $23B in productivity gains – a return of $169 for every $1 invested, setting children and families up for long-term success.

Thank you for being here. With a commitment to expanding our impact, we can’t do this important work without you. Here’s to the next decade of innovation and improved lives!

Standout stat

3.5 million

that’s how many children we aim to reach across all 28 districts in Malawi over three years with deworming treatments, iron and folic acid supplements, or both. We estimate that over 900,000 anemia cases will be averted over those three years, and, thanks to the long-term economic impacts of Deworm the World, livelihoods of dewormed children will improve by approximately $130M by 2046!
