Here's what's at risk if we lose the Postal Service:
DemocratsJoin us.

John, the United States Postal Service is one of the oldest and most vital public services in our nation -- and it's currently on track to run out of money in just a few months.

Rather than supporting an institution that has brought our nation together through affordable and accessible services, the Trump administration is refusing to support the USPS during a time when it's needed more than ever.

It’s absolutely urgent we come together now to save this vital public service. Add your name to demand the USPS be properly funded before it’s too late:

If we allow Republicans to dismantle the United States Postal Service, we risk:

  • The livelihoods of hundreds of thousands of hardworking postal workers during a global health crisis when unemployment numbers continue to skyrocket. Postal workers continue to work on the front lines during this crisis, keeping our economy going by making sure folks like you and me get the resources we need.
  • Further disconnecting rural, poor, and native communities from their needs. The USPS delivers all mail at a flat rate regardless of distance -- ensuring that no matter where you live, you can get your medication, pay your bills, and stay connected at an affordable rate.
  • Accessible vote-by-mail has been in practice in many states and localities and is made possible by the USPS. Now, more than ever, we should be scaling up vote-by-mail capabilities to ensure a safe, secure general election. Instead, Republicans are threatening the provider that makes it possible.

Demand proper funding of the USPS. Add your name to save the United States Postal Service and fight for hundreds of thousands of U.S. postal workers.

Put simply, our country cannot afford to lose the Postal Service, which is exactly what could happen if Trump gets his way. He wants the USPS to run like a private shipping service -- even though private delivery companies rely on the USPS to complete deliveries in remote areas.

If you believe in protecting this vital public service and the 600,000 postal workers that make it happen, then show your support for the United States Postal Service today. These are our frontline workers and we must do all that we can to protect them.

John, sign this petition now to demand the protection of the USPS and its essential employees and services.

In unity,

Tom
