Tonight’s debate was a powerful reminder of what’s on the line this November.

While Governor Tim Walz spoke about protecting freedoms and lifting up working families, JD Vance offered nothing but bluster. He told blatant lies, dodged questions, and doubled down on his extreme, divisive rhetoric.

Throughout the debate, Vance repeatedly demonized legal immigrants, defended and promised to expand Trump’s tax giveaway to the rich, lied about MAGA Republicans’ commitment to banning abortion nationwide without exceptions for rape and incest, and more.

It’s obvious Donald Trump and JD Vance are unfit to lead our nation, but it will take a historic grassroots movement to keep them out of the White House this November. With 34 days to go, Real Clear Politics just shifted Minnesota to a “toss-up,” and it’s on DFLers to hold the line.
