I’m about to ask you for $15 to support gun safety Democrats up and down the ticket in November. But first, let me explain why Tim Walz’s debate against JD Vance tonight is pivotal to this HISTORIC election. >>

This is a make-or-break moment for Tim Walz – and our movement to elect leaders who will fight for gun safety legislation, our democratic rights, and more, here’s why:

– In just 10 hours, Tim Walz takes the debate stage to face off against JD Vance.

– Tonight is the FINAL debate between nominees on the presidential ticket – because Donald Trump is too cowardly to debate Kamala Harris again.

And, Tim Walz has already shown his commitment to our movement as Minnesota governor, by:

– Championing young leaders in state and local legislatures.

– Signing into law gun safety legislation like universal background checks and red flag laws.

– Supporting young organizers as they fight for change on the ground.

JD Vance is way too extreme to lead us.

– He calls mass school shootings – like the massacre that stole the lives of 17 members of my community and wounded 34 more in Parkland in 2017 – a “fact of life”.

– He endorses Trump’s anti-democratic lies about the 2020 election.

– He promotes inflammatory racist, anti-immigrant, misogynistic falsehoods at every turn.

– And he blocked gun safety legislation – including an assault weapons ban – in his short time as a US Senator.

But the gun lobby and their mega-donors are pulling out all the stops to build Vance up, outraise gun safety Democrats, and embarrass Walz before he steps on the stage for tonight’s debate.
