We are thrilled to share some incredible news with you today: the ink is finally dry, and the merger between the National Center for Transgender Equality and the Transgender Legal Defense & Education Fund is now official! The formation of Advocates for Trans Equality (A4TE) marks the culmination of a two-year journey, and we couldn't be more excited to take this monumental and bold step forward toward trans equality together.

This has been an inspiring journey of collaboration, dedication, and unwavering commitment to our mission. Over the past two years, we have worked tirelessly to bring our organizations together, combining our strengths and resources to better serve the trans community. Today, we celebrate this historic moment, knowing that our united efforts will amplify trans voices and drive meaningful change.
As we navigate this current election season, we released the "Civic Engagement in the 2022 U.S. Transgender Survey'' [[link removed]] report, revealing new data about respondents’ voting participation, civic engagement and the issues that are important to us. This data will be instrumental in guiding our advocacy and ensuring that trans voices are heard and respected in our political process.
We are immensely grateful for your support throughout this journey. Your belief in our mission has been a driving force behind our efforts, and we are excited to continue this work together as A4TE. There is much more to come, and we can't wait to share our plans and initiatives with you in the coming months.
