Friend — I wish I were making this up.

After joining Trump's backstage debate entourage, just to watch him CRASH and BURN against Kamala Harris, Rick Scott is taking another page out of his cowardly puppet-master's playbook:

Now that the tide is clearly turning in Florida and nationwide, they know better than to try to defend their lies on live TV.

Instead, they've resorted to flooding Florida's airwaves with deceitful attack ads, hoping they can just dodge public scrutiny.

And if I fall short of my first $500,000 goal of the month, I won't be able to counter with my own ads from now to Nov. 5. Will you rush $5 now to help me keep the truth alive, win in Florida, and retire these cowardly liars?

I'm not afraid of facing Scott or live fact-checkers on the debate stage — because unlike my opponent, I'm not running on a platform of well-funded lies.

And frankly, with the massive fortune Rick Scott used to buy Florida's seat in 2018, he thinks he doesn't need the truth to win. Few are even capable of competing with his multimillion-dollar ad spends — I know I sure can't.

But that doesn't mean we shouldn't try.

Throughout my 75-stop tour, it's only become more obvious that Floridians can’t wait to get rid of Rick — and now, brand-new polling shows we're just 1 point away from kicking him to the curb.

As long as we keep reaching voters with our future-forward message and expose Rick for the chicken he is, we really can win this race, fair and square.

But truth be told: Since he's already spent nearly $30 MILLION to pull the wool over voters' eyes and stop me, it all comes down to cold, hard cash.

With Election Day just 35 days away, I can't afford to fall short of my FIRST $500,000 goal of the month, and I won't make this goal before midnight without you.

So please, friend, pitch in $5, $25, or anything you can spare right now to help me close the last 21% gap, send Chicken Rick running home, and flip Florida blue.
