The fundraiser, which has raised over $3.4 million from more than 20,000 donors, was launched yesterday by President Trump after he joined Georgia officials, including Senator Loeffler, in Valdosta – where he distributed supplies, comforted victims, and offered support to the community. “The devastation of this storm is staggering, and my heart aches for the families and farmers across the southeast who have lost their loved ones and livelihoods,” said Senator Loeffler. “But as I joined President Trump on the ground in Valdosta yesterday, I was reminded that these impacted communities, including Augusta and Savannah, represent some of the strongest and hardest-working people in our state.
