Thank you to everyone who contributed ahead of the last quarterly FEC deadline of the election.  With only five weeks left before Election Day, the money we raise now is being put to good use as we execute our voter outreach efforts between now and November 5—and not just to turn out voters for our race but for all the other races we’re involved in this year.  That includes electing Vice President Harris, sending Colin Allred to the Senate, and much more.

#TeamLizzie has been hard at work to reach our goal of 25,000 new voter contacts.  We’ve been making calls, sending postcards, knocking on doors, and meeting with our partners across Texas to ensure we’re implementing a strong field strategy from now through Election Day. 

We’ve also loved being out and about in the district with Harris County Democrats.

There is less than a week left for Texans to check their registration statuses to ensure they can cast a ballot in the November 5 election.  The deadline is this Monday, October 7! 

Check your status here and get a registration form.  If you’re registered, forward this email to friends and family to make sure they’re registered and ready to vote, too.

We’re keeping our foot on the gas these next five weeks, and we have more volunteer opportunities coming up this week:

Our next phone bank is tomorrow, October 2, from 4-7 p.m.

Our next postcard party is this Thursday, October 3, with shifts from 10 a.m. to noon and 6-8 p.m.

Our next block walk is this Saturday, October 5, from 9 a.m. to noon and noon to 3 p.m.
