North Carolina needs your support.

John —

Hurricane Helene has brought unprecedented devastation to our beloved western North Carolina and we’re coordinating a massive effort involving local, multiple state and federal officials and volunteers to help with rescue, food, water, medical supplies and more. Airlifts of supplies along with search and rescue are happening right now as some rivers are still rising.

This catastrophic storm brought from 10 to 29 inches of rain in some areas. Hundreds of roads are impassable, power and communications are out in many places and people need both short- and long-term assistance. I and my team are giving this our full 24-7 attention and action.

This unprecedented storm requires an unprecedented response and I know many of you want to help.

Our government is doing everything possible to get assistance to people who need it, but this is a crisis situation, John. That’s why I’m personally asking if you could donate $5 or $10 directly to the North Carolina Disaster Relief Fund to ensure they have the resources to respond.

DONATE

North Carolina is strong, and our first responders are the best in the country. I am thankful for their hard work and for risking their lives to protect all North Carolinians.

With perseverance and resilience, we will rebuild.

My prayers are with all those in Helene’s path.
