[[link removed]]John, earlier today our President Bob Irvin reached out to let
you know about the fundraising match we have today. I want to make sure you saw
his note, because this is a rare opportunity to double your impact
[[link removed]] .

The story of the Delaware River's rebirth from an overly polluted river is an
amazing one, but it's not alone.

If you can spare even $25 today
[[link removed]] , that is $50 that will help us add to the list of great comeback stories.

Thank you for all you do for rivers,

Bruce Leathwood
Senior Director of Membership

Dear John,

Seventy five years ago, people were sickened by the smell of the Delaware River
because it was choked with sewage. Fifty years ago, the Cuyahoga River caught
fire because it was so polluted.

Not anymore.

Today, the water in these rivers is cleaner. Fish are returning. Families can
enjoy boating, fishing and swimming. It’s all thanks to strong clean water
safeguards and collaboration around innovative solutions. It’s why we named the
Cuyahoga “River of the Year” in 2019, and it’s why we gave the 2020 honor to the
Delaware River.

These are major comeback stories, and it’s what we’re all about.

Will you help us create more successes like Cuyahoga and the Delaware
nationwide? Donate today and your gift will be matched $ for $.

While we celebrate success, we’re also not letting up. Rollbacks by the Trump
Administration to clean water safeguards could undo progress we’ve made on
rivers across the country.

We can’t go backwards – donate today to protect rivers and clean water. Thanks
to a generous donor, up to $15,000 is matched. $10 = $20 $25 = $50 $50 = $100

Every day, we use our advocacy, partnerships and expertise to bring rivers back
to life.

With help from supporters like you, we can transform a river – because we know
that a healthy river can improve the lives of everyone living along its banks.

Give now
[[link removed]] , and we’ll put your donation to work immediately to create the next great
river comeback story.

For the rivers,
