We hosted our annual Lead with Lillian fundraiser in Chapel Hill this past Sunday and want to thank everyone who supported or joined us for the event!

It was amazing to see many of our Featured Candidates and to present the Jan Allen Courage Award to Congresswoman Valerie Foushee and State Auditor Jessica Holmes with the help of previous recipient Rep. Diamond Staton-Williams. We also heard from Rachel Hunt, Gretchen Whitmer, and Josh Stein.

Our friends in Durham are hosting this great panel and happy hour this Friday, October 4th at 5:30pm! The panel will feature Rep. Vernetta Alston, Justice Anita Earls, and our very own Interim Executive Director Montica Talmadge.

As you know, many of our neighbors in the Western part of the state were devastated by Hurricane Helene last week. We're proud that our Featured Candidates have been mobilizing to send aid and supplies to the mountains and share critical information.
