One vision embodies what we all know and love about the Midwest - a positive, upbeat, and joyfully people-oriented vision of Tim Walz. Those of us who have followed Tim's career know him as a leader whose energy is infectious and whose commitment to the people is unwavering.
From his days as a high school teacher and coach to his current role as Governor, Tim Walz has embodied our Democratic values: uplifting our communities and creating opportunities for each and every one of us, regardless of our background or circumstances.
The other vision is just… weird. Sen. JD Vance brags about “manufacturing” racist stories of immigrants eating pets and insulting people who don’t have children, regardless of whether it’s by choice or circumstance (not that that matters).
Vance has one of the most extreme positions on women’s health in the entire Senate–he wants to block interstate travel for women seeking health care, and has called for a national abortion ban.
Tonight's debate will throw these differences in style, substance, and what it means to be from “middle America” into sharp contrast. Can you chip in $10, $15, $25, $50 $100 or more to show the nation that we stand firmly behind Governor Walz and his positive, inclusive vision for our future?
