That’s how much unaccountable “dark money” has flooded our elections since the Supreme Court’s terrible Citizens United decision. Well, when corporate PACs give all that money to politicians, just what exactly do they think they’re buying? 

 

We’re running a different campaign -- one that’s consistent with our progressive values. That’s why we’re not taking a dime from corporate PACs. Even though our 2018 race was the most expensive in New Jersey history, we’re relying on people power instead of their dark money.

One way to see the effects of all this dark money? Take a look at your tax returns this year.

 

Andy knows our tax code should put MORE money in the pockets of the middle class, not less. But the GOP’s tax plan eliminated tax deductions that middle-class families here in South Jersey relied on -- all to pave the way for a MASSIVE tax cut for billionaires and big corporations. (And guess who they donate to? That’s right: the GOP.)

 

This is about more than one congressman or one vote. Big money has warped our entire political process. That’s why we must end Citizens United and pass real campaign finance reform -- add your name if you agree.
