I swear, J.D. Vance is not my evil twin, John.

You've probably heard some of the unhinged comments that the other J.D. has made; so far, he's made up pernicious claims about Haitian immigrants, disparaged "childless cat ladies," opined on the "purpose of a postmenopausal woman," and so much more. Not even my evil twin would stoop as low as J.D. Vance. And tonight, he will try to shock you with another display of extremism.

We can all agree, the other J.D. is not only problematic for our country, but he is also a problem for our future. And he'll show that off tonight as he makes more ridiculous comments, based only on conspiracy theories.

He represents the same extremism that far-right Republicans crave in states just like Iowa. And when extremists like Kim Reynolds and my opponent start sharing their views on reproductive rights, hard-working Iowans, public school teachers, immigrant communities, or the dignity of workers, it becomes clear that these far-right extremists don't represent our values.
