After mounting pressure, thanks in part to the thousands of people who spoke out, the Trump Administration finally announced this morning that it’s releasing the $8 billion our tribal communities were owed in federal coronavirus relief.

The Administration took 38 days and was completely unacceptable, especially since our tribal communities were some of the hardest hit by COVID-19.

Now more than ever, we need leaders who will fight for our tribes and ensure they get the support they need. Thankfully, we have Rep. Tom O’Halleran.

He has been on the frontlines fighting to clean up Washington, to permanently ban uranium mining in the Grand Canyon and to ensure our tribes are represented well in Congress.
