When we first met Lisa Turtle, she was sick and starving at a backyard butcher farm. Even more heartbreaking, she was suffering from a painful broken leg that was left untreated.
Today Lisa Turtle is happy and healthy. With your support, we mended her broken leg, helped her spirit heal, and introduced her to her lifelong best friend, Morris pig.
Despite her painful beginnings, Lisa will spend the rest of her life sunbathing, lounging in the pig pond, and receiving belly rubs from her human friends!
