He has been a tireless champion for Democratic values. J.D. Vance has only served himself: He wrote a book poking fun at Appalachia, sold the movie rights to Netflix, and became a venture capitalist. His most recent claim to fame was spreading lies about Haitian immigrants eating dogs and cats.
