This is an emergency call to action. It’s an urgent deadline. The NIH is shipping $2M to abuse beagles in China! Read below to take action or unsubscribe.
Taxpayer— last night, we failed to hit our budget target.
September’s online revenue fell about 31%. More concerning, our total number of grassroots gifts was also about 29% lower than the prior month.
This is a problem. We depend on many donations from email appeals like this to fund our investigations. Our average gift is about $20.
It’s how we pay for our Freedom of Information Act requests, litigation, media, advertising, lobbying, and so much more to close animal labs—and save lab animals.
Any revenue shortfall jeopardizes our campaigns. Now it may be even harder to save the NIH beagles in China.
I’m proud that WCW is the most effective group for shutting down animal labs. But I’m NOT proud that we’re coming up short.
Midnight TONIGHT is our rapid response deadline. Details below.
Taxpayer, here’s your secure link to help save the Chinese beagles and many more animals.
Will you send help by 11:59 PM tonight?

“U.S. taxpayers funded Chinese labs that carried out grisly experiments on beagle puppies”
— The Washington Times, 9/25/24
Taxpayer, this is a bad situation.
This beagle’s spinal cord was severed. She was crippled and "executed" inside an NIH-funded lab in China.
Breaking: The National Institutes of Health (NIH) is shipping over $2 million to a dog lab in China for these types of experiments—and more money will be coming soon!
Emergency Deadline: Please rush in $2.80—only ten cents per Chinese lab—to save the lives (and spines) of more puppies and help us stop NIH’s dog labs and others.

White Coat Waste investigators just exposed the NIH’s backdoor deals with Chinese labs.
NIH-funded labs in China are crippling, maiming, and “executing” beagles.
Chinese experimenters even film these torture sessions!
Some puppies are as young as one day old.
Their words… not mine:
Stop 28 Chinese Labs
End Dog Crippling >>
Taxpayer, let’s be clear: this isn’t an isolated incident.
28(!) labs in China are actively eligible to receive YOUR tax dollars from the NIH.
Hundreds of animals have been slaughtered under this program.
Hundreds more will meet the same fate unless we do something to stop it.
This 18-month-old female beagle had her spinal cord severed and was killed by experimenters from NIH-funded Sun Yat-Sen University and the Chinese Academy of Sciences.
On October 1, the federal government’s new fiscal year begins.
We’re rushing to de-fund these labs… before your government, flush with cash, doles out even more funds to animal labs in China.
We also need to strike while the iron is hot. Right now, our beagle investigation is a major front-page story in the Washington Times!
Unfortunately, we’re going to need a lot more help to save these dogs—and many more—in the next 96 hours.
We just learned about these brutal beagle experiments. And we have NOT fully-funded our budget!
Please help us cancel payout #75N95023P00683, support all our life-saving campaigns, and end NIH’s dog labs in China.
Are you in?
