Days ago scientists announced a huge discovery: a micro immunization that
can protect bees from deadly pesticides forever – it's incredible!
We need to urgently build momentum around it to save as many bees as
possible.
Neonicotinoid pesticides are so toxic that one teaspoon is enough to kill
1.25 billion honeybees. But this new discovery renders the poison
completely harmless! Ideas like this can catch fire or die on the vine,
and the moments after the study is published are the most critical.
Governments across Europe, North America and in dense bee areas like South
America need to decide now to support this work, line up distribution and
study the many uses for this amazing new drug.
We're the best community in the world to make that happen. Because we're
global, we're huge and we've got a long track record of advocating for the

This kind of discovery is once-in-a-lifetime – the moonshot bees need to
survive long enough for the world to eradicate the pesticides killing
their entire community and our only source of food pollination. And it's
come not a moment too soon. Even with the incredible work of our community
to ban harmful neonic pesticides in major US states and across Europe,
these pesticides are flooding the global market and decimating entire
colonies.
Even local beekeepers can't keep their carefully tended hives safe.
Now we need to bring global support and urgency to make this one
scientific paper a worldwide phenomenon fast. We saw during Covid how
quickly the world can unite around scientific discoveries if the people
force them to act. This is as important to our future – bees are essential
to our entire food system!

the momentum of our movement and the financial support they need into the
