Patriot,
The European Union's top digital communications enforcer tried to censor an American’s right to free speech last month.
Ahead of Elon Musk's live-streamed interview with Donald Trump, Thierry Breton — who oversees the EU’s enforcement of new social media rules — sent Musk a letter posted on X that warned the tech mogul about spreading "harmful content."
This attack on free speech is absurd, but it isn’t an isolated incident.
Earlier this month, Brazil banned X altogether after the platform refused for months to comply with demands to ban accounts and remove content. As a result, 20 million people no longer have access to X, and anyone attempting to access it using a VPN is being slapped with a harsh daily fine (~50,000 Brazilian reais or $9,000 USD). (You can find my full article about this at fee.org.)
In a world where the voices of freedom and individual rights are often drowned out by the noise of censorship and collectivism, every once in a while, we are given a glimmer of hope. Earlier this week, Thierry Breton resigned. The battle is not completely lost, but the importance of educating the rising generation about liberty and free speech has never been greater — the time is now.
The Foundation for Economic Education (FEE) is on the frontlines of this battle, ensuring that the timeless principles of a free society are not just preserved but championed by the next generation.
I’d love for you to join me in this fight by donating today to help FEE find new ways to instill a love of liberty in the next generation! Your gift helps us ensure that the next generation understands the value and fragility of freedom. Click below to donate.

Every day, I see the impact of FEE’s work as young people across the country discover the power of liberty and the importance of free speech.
Through our educational programs, seminars, and engaging online content, we inspire thousands of students to think critically, question the status quo, and embrace the ideas that have made America a beacon of freedom.
Our flagship program, FEE in the Classroom, is held in brick-and-mortar and virtual classrooms across the country, where skilled educators teach young Americans the principles of free markets, individual liberty, and limited government.
When not in the classroom, FEE reaches Gen Z where they get their information: online.
We believe it is critical to reach young people where they’re at with our message of liberty, free markets, and free speech.
In 2023, FEE’s content was engaged with more than 30M times through social media, YouTube, and our website.
In 2021, FEE even broke the world record for the largest online economics lecture featuring Argentina's president, Javier Milei!
But our mission is far from over.
With your support, we can reach even more young minds, equip them with the knowledge and tools they need to stand up for their rights and ensure that the principles of liberty continue to thrive in the next generation.
You can help FEE teach these valuable lessons to the next generation both inside and outside of the classroom. Please consider making a donation of any amount you can afford to support our programs. Click here to give today >>
After students receive a primer on the freedom philosophy through FEE in the Classroom and our online content, they need additional opportunities to remain engaged.
That’s why FEE is building the new “liberty pipeline” — to ensure they continue learning and are inspired to implement the freedom philosophy in their lives, communities, and the greater world.
Our new pipeline will include:
With this new pipeline, we will REVERSE the trend of Gen Z becoming more socialist AND develop new advocates for liberty.
Your contribution to FEE is not just an investment in education; it's an investment in the future of freedom.
By donating today, you help us provide resources, experiences, and inspiration that empower young people to be the champions of liberty our world so desperately needs
