Orange County Republicans -

California Democrats love to support new regulations that apply to everyone...
except themselves. 

Last Thursday, Governor Gavin Newsom made a politically motivated decision to immediately close Orange County beaches with no timeline for reopening them. This decision was not based in science or data; it was a power play to stop Orange County's Republican leaders from governing themselves.  As a result, almost 3,000 residents hit the beaches protest Governor Newsom and call on their representatives to stand up for them. Congressman Harley Rouda agreed with the closure, and said opening Orange County beaches was "a reckless action" in a statement that same day.

Apparently, Representative Rouda thought that those rules don't apply to him. According to photos obtained by CBS News, the Congressman was enjoying himself at a private beach this weekend while the rest of us were locked out. His opponent, Orange County Supervisor Michelle Steel, has been working diligently to craft reopening plans for public beaches, parks, and businesses in the county. Rouda on the other hand has offered no new ideas, no plans, and no leadership.

Harley Rouda is just another liberal elitist. While he enjoys the beach to himself, let's work together to take back our county and make him a one-term member of Congress.
