Today is deadline day. Tomorrow, I meet with my team to plot the final weeks of this campaign.

It’s a day we’re going to make a series of important decisions, and what happens in these final 24 hours is going to play a major part in what we can do over the handful of weeks we’ve got before Election Day.

But put all that aside for a minute. Because today, I want to talk to you about another decision — why I decided to run for Arizona’s seat in the U.S. Senate in the first place.

I grew up poor. I worked hard and got into Harvard with the help of my family and community. I enlisted in the Marines, and I survived Iraq because of the guys I went through it with.

I decided to run for Senate because this country gave me a chance. Because my family, my community, my Marines — they got me here. And because working people like them deserve someone who is going to fight for them in Washington.

That was enough for me.

But I’ve got another reason... Kari Lake is my opponent.

The “MAGA Queen.” One of the only people in the country who still pushes the same election lies and conspiracies as hard as Donald Trump — the same lies that led directly to January 6th in the first place.

I don’t care what the polls say — Arizona does not have blowout elections, and this one is going to be as close as any. Control of the Senate will come down to who wins in Arizona — somebody who calls herself “the most dangerous politician in America,” or me.

That’s a lot of pressure. Trust me… I’m feeling it. I expect you are, too. But you are not alone in this fight. I’m with you, and thousands of others are, too.

Right now, a lot of them are making donations ahead of our deadline. They’re hoping that you will join them. Because they know that is how we will win this race.

So please, I am asking you very humbly:

Can you contribute a split $10 to our campaign and Forward Majority before this FEC deadline? That’s the only way we’ll hold the Senate. That’s the only way we’ll defend it from Kari Lake.
