John—

This weekend, gun safety supporters from across the country are rallying
to let their senators know it's past time to pass background checks on all
gun sales and a strong Red Flag law.

There are rallies all across the country — at churches, city halls, Senate
offices, you name it — so we hope you'll join us in demanding action from
our senators.

John—

Since the Senate went into recess just over a week ago, our country has
been rocked again and again by tragedy. Every day, 100 lives will be
taken, and hundreds more wounded on average by gun violence. And still,
the Senate has failed to act.

Now, we're taking action to let them know that while Congress is on a
break, the fight to end gun violence is not. This weekend, volunteers are
showing up across the country at libraries, parks, city halls, churches,
and outside Senate state offices to demand common sense, lifesaving gun
laws now.

[ [link removed] ]John, join us for a Recess Rally in District of Columbia and tell
your senators that it's past time to act.

While our senators are back home, we're going to demand that they take
action to end this gun violence epidemic without delay.

See you in the field,
