Running for Congress was never my plan. I never imagined being at this point – less than 40 days until Election Day, facing off against an MAGA Republican in a race that can decide House control.

My entire career has been about serving our community. From serving as Chief of Staff under President Obama, to creating 700+ jobs right here in the Antelope Valley, to co-founding an organization dedicated to solving the wildfire crisis.

Like many of you, I grew tired of Mike Garcia’s extremism. He’s more dedicated to pleasing the far-right reaches of the GOP than delivering for CA-27.

He’s against our best interests – advocating for a national abortion ban with no exceptions, caught up in shady stock dealings, voting to give himself a pay raise but voting against giving firefighters a raise, the list goes on.

We’ve created an incredible coalition to flip this seat. Our hard work is paying off: New polling shows us 1-point ahead of Garcia, and when undecided voters learn about my vision, more support us than him.

That’s why we must meet our FINAL quarterly FEC goal that expires tonight. Keeping our strong momentum is critical this close to Election Day.
