Teachers, have your students use our Statistics in Schools warm-up activity to explore the changes in population of the 25 most populous Atlantic and Gulf Coastline counties from 2000 to 2019.
Students will learn to identify areas with the smallest and largest growth and consider the risks associated with living along the coast.

Household Pulse Survey
On Thursday, October 3, new data from the experimental Household Pulse Survey will be released. The survey is an effort by the Census Bureau and other federal statistical agencies to measure how emergent issues are impacting U.S. households from a social and economic perspective.
Phase 4.2 topics include access to transportation and the internet, shortage of critical items and updated response options for the ages of children and school enrollment.
