John,
Last month, the Biden-Harris administration won its biggest victory yet against greedy corporate power when a judge ruled that Google is an illegal monopoly.1
And they’re not the only corporation the Biden-Harris administration is holding accountable.
Between the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) and the Department of Justice (DOJ), the Biden-Harris administration are taking legal actions against Ticketmaster, Apple, and Amazon,2 as well as a slew of actions banning non-compete agreements and fighting against junk fees.
FTC Chair Lina Khan is putting attempts at corporate consolidation under the microscope and making sure it won’t harm consumers. Assistant Attorney General Jonathan Kanter, who is in charge of the Department of Justice’s Antitrust Division, is standing up against illegal monopolies that already exist, like UnitedHealth and Ticketmaster.
Chairwoman Khan and Assistant Attorney General Kanter are fighting to hold multi-billion dollar corporations accountable and to stop their greedy business practices that hurt everyday consumers. Add your name to have their backs and fight for consumers.

Billionaires are hoping the next President will fire both Khan and Kanter, but Chairwoman Khan is determined to keep putting consumers first. At the recent American Economic Liberties Project Anti-Monopoly Summit, Chair Khan clearly stated the goal:3
“We’re protecting Americans from hidden junk fees that cheat them out of tens of billions of dollars a year. We’re holding individual executives accountable when they break or conspire to break the law. And we’re blocking mergers that would raise prices, depress wages, and kill innovation.
We’re showing the American people what it looks like to have a government that’s not afraid to fight for them.
This is the vision that animates our work at the FTC: an economy where consumers can exercise real choice, without fear of getting ripped off or misled; where entrepreneurs and small businesses can compete on the merits of their skills and ideas, without fear of upsetting one of the existing giants; and where workers have the freedom to switch jobs, bargain for a better deal, and exercise basic rights, without fear of ruin or retaliation.
In short, we are fighting for an economy where people enjoy the opportunity and liberty that free, fair, and honest competition provides.”
Add your name to show FTC Chair Lina Khan and Assistant Attorney General Kanter that we have their backs as they work to stop wealthy corporations from price gouging consumers.
Thank you for all you do,
Meredith Dodson Senior Director of Public Policy, CHN Action
