John,
Oct. 2 marks the 11th annual Wrongful Conviction Day: an opportunity to call attention to the causes and tremendous personal, social, and emotional costs of wrongful conviction. Wrongful Conviction Day is an effort of the Innocence Network, a coalition of independent innocence organizations of which the Innocence Project is a proud member.
To mark this important day, we’re asking for your help so we can continue fighting to free the innocent, supporting the exonerated after they are freed, and redressing the causes of wrongful convictions. Thanks to a generous donor, your donation will be 2X-MATCHED when you donate by Oct. 2.
Innocence Project clients have collectively spent nearly 4,000 years wrongfully incarcerated. Nationally, thanks to the work of Innocence Network organizations and others, 3,565 wrongful convictions have been revealed in the past 35 years.
Our vital work to free the innocent and transform the systems that allow injustices to happen wouldn’t be possible without our strong community of justice-minded supporters. So, will you join us in acknowledging this important moment and give by Oct. 2 while your support will go twice as far?
Thank you for standing with us in our fight to free the innocent.

P.S. Thanks to the generous support of John O'Farrell and Gloria Principe, all donations will be matched, dollar-for-dollar, up to $20,000.
