How are you doing, folks?
I know this is such a difficult time for so many, and I hope you and your entire family are staying safe and healthy. It’s hard being cooped up inside, I miss my friends and loved ones — but still, I’m proud of us for doing our part to slow the virus.
Even so, I want you to know that this is hard for me, too. I’m a total extrovert. While I enjoy writing banjo songs in the comfort of my living room, I love getting out and interacting with people. I promise you as soon as we are allowed to, we will get out to every corner of Colorado.
For now, I’m emailing to say thank you. My team just informed me that we caught up on our fundraising goal, and I’m so grateful that folks like you have joined our movement.
Thank you for being a part of this.
Every day, our grassroots team grows stronger. Last month, we reached over 100,000 individual donations, our volunteers sent over 370,000 texts and we had over 30 meet and greets, roundtables, and other virtual events. That’s incredible!
(I love our amazing team!)
Together, we’re building a movement strong enough to make Washington work for all Coloradans. We’re rejecting the notion that corporate PACs and special interest groups get to control our politics. We’re fighting for real action on climate change, national vote by mail, health care, gun reform, and more.
I’m running for U.S. Senate to be the independent leader Colorado deserves. And with your help, I’m confident we’ll win.
Thank you for all you do. Stay healthy. And I’ll see you as soon as I can.
John
