I’m reaching out today because I want you to know how grateful I am for your partnership in this work. 

What we’re trying to do – regain a Democratic House majority, send Kamala Harris to the White House, defeat extremists who divide our country – is no easy feat. But every time I connect with this team, whether it’s in person, on the phone, or via email, I am reminded that if we work together, we can get this done.

The stakes are just so high. I remember in 2016, working on Hillary Clinton’s campaign, some people said our fears about a Donald Trump presidency were unfounded. That we were overreacting.

Today, we read story after story in newspapers across the country about women who are dying because of Trump’s abortion bans. We see schools in Springfield, Ohio being evacuated from bomb scares after Trump and Vance spread baseless racist conspiracy theories. 

I think we all know now that we can’t afford a second Trump term. But it’s not just voting against him – it’s voting for a strong, joyful leader who believes in the fundamental American values of freedom and equality. It’s electing the first woman, the first Black woman, and first South Asian woman president. It’s bringing Tim Walz’s frankly immaculate vibes along with her. 

But we have to put in the work. Election Day is five weeks from tomorrow, and millions of people are already voting, so we don’t have a minute to waste.
