John,

Imagine being targeted by the government for saying “Jesus loves you.”

While it sounds shocking, it’s happening right now; and today we’re filing a lawsuit to fight back.

A state agency targeted, harassed, and discriminated against a Christian realtor, Hadassah Carter, simply for putting a Bible verse (John 3:16) on her website and including “Jesus loves you” in her email signature. The Virginia state agency actually required her real estate broker to watch and report her religious speech at her job.

This kind of targeted discrimination against Christians is real. It is unconstitutional. It is illegal. And it cannot stand.

To make matters worse, it is the Virginia state agency that is claiming religious discrimination, turning logic on its head. There are no actual complaints against Hadassah for any discrimination. In fact, she was first targeted by the government when SHE defended one of her own clients from discrimination.

At the ACLJ, we’ve been battling in courts nationwide to defend religious liberty. I’ve won numerous landmark religious liberty cases at the Supreme Court.

Today we are filing a lawsuit against this government agency to defend Hadassah's religious liberty. This case could have a big impact across the nation, as more of these shocking cases of anti-Christian discrimination emerge.

Now we need you to stand with us as we defend Hadassah and Christians across the country from being targeted by the government for displaying Bible verses and expressing their Christian faith.

Right now, your Tax-Deductible gift of any amount will be DOUBLED, dollar-for-dollar, through our August Matching Challenge. Have your gift matched as we go to court to defend Hadassah and defeat anti-Christian discrimination today.

Chip in $5 and It Becomes $10; $20 Becomes $40.
