Dear Neighbor,
Know someone who is interested in attending a US Military service academy? If so, I invite all prospective service academy applicants to join me for a virtual information night on October 2nd!
I will host service academy liaisons to answer any questions regarding the application process, individual academies and much more.

Members of Congress may nominate candidates for appointment to four of the five U.S. service academies:
- U.S. Military Academy (USMA), West Point, NY
- U.S. Naval Academy (UNSA), Annapolis, MD
- U.S. Air Force Academy (USAFA), Colorado Springs, CO
- U.S. Merchant Marine Academy (USMMA), Kings Point, NY
The honor of attending a service academy comes with the obligation and commitment to serve the military for a minimum of five years upon graduation.
Students should reside in California’s 38th congressional district before applying. Applications are due by November 7, 2024.
