I want to thank everyone who has contributed this year, this quarter, this month, and this week ahead of tonight’s FEC deadline—and ahead of Election Day, which is now just over one month away.

We know the stakes for this election could not be higher.

From the White House to the House of Representatives, we need to elect people who will represent us and lead us as we deserve—responsibly and with integrity.  #TeamLizzie will keep working every day until November 5 to make sure we elect the leaders we need in places we need them—by winning our race here in #TX07 and by supporting other candidates on the ballot, like Colin Allred and Vice President Harris.

We know what it takes to win.

Our campaign has invested millions of dollars over the years in reaching and engaging voters, in increasing voter turnout, and in shaping a path forward for our community and country.  We helped change the direction of the country by winning back the House majority in 2018 and holding on to it in 2020.  We helped make possible the great work of the Biden-Harris Administration and put a check on the worst impulses of the Trump Administration.

We know we need you.

After years of running and winning tough races, I know contributions of all kinds matter—from sending a postcard or making a phone call to sending in a financial contribution.  All of these efforts are essential to winning—and hitting our goal of reaching 25,000 new voters.  

Your response to these deadlines and your generous contributions are so meaningful.  As we reach the last quarterly deadline of this election cycle, I hope you will consider making a financial contribution today.  (And tomorrow, we will send you a whole bunch of ways to contribute your time.)
