Today at midnight, we'll hit our final FEC public filing before Election Day. But that’s not all today is.

Today also marks the 48th anniversary of the passing of the Hyde Amendment — legislation that prohibits federal funding for services related to abortion. It has hampered women’s healthcare funding for decades, and that’s just the way the GOP wants it.

The GOP has been targeting women for half a century.

They’re aiming to pass a national abortion ban, limit contraceptive access, strip LGBTQIA+, disability, and workers rights, and so much more. They are letting Trump and the extremists in their party run the show, but we can fight back at the ballot box.

This anniversary is an important reminder of what’s at stake in this election. The GOP’s dangerous agenda will hurt our families and make the future less safe for our children and grandchildren. That’s why I’m here fighting every single day. We deserve better from our leaders.
