I love things with a personal touch. A handmade gift, a thoughtfully prepared meal. Adding a little bit of me to things I share with others is important -- it helps us stay connected. So when I learned that I could send individualized letters encouraging people to vote, I couldn’t sign up fast enough.
This year, the Stand Up America community is partnering with Vote Forward to launch The Big Send, an initiative to send millions of letters to voters in key swing states to urge them to cast their ballots on Election Day.

10 million letters may sound like A LOT, but we’re not doing this alone. The Big Send campaign is a coordinated effort with our partners, including Swing Left, Indivisible, People For the American Way, Daily Kos, Women’s March Foundation, genEquality, and Democracy in Color.
More partners means more letters, which means more impact!
I’m getting ready to write my letters this week, and I know exactly what I’m going to say: I vote because those who came before me put everything on the line so I could have the right to. I believe in making my voice heard, this year more than ever.
