Friends,

New reports suggest that up to 90% of women and minority business owners may be shut out of receiving a loan under the Paycheck Protection Program, the federal program set up to distribute economic relief to small businesses struggling during the COVID-19 pandemic.

That's largely because the big banks distributing these loans are prioritizing larger businesses to maximize their own profits during this pandemic.

It's not fair. I believe all small business owners should have a fair chance to receive loans during this unprecedented crisis. Do you agree?

Add your name if you agree that Congress must take steps to ensure women and minority business owners aren't left to weather this COVID-19 crisis alone.

It will be much harder for the most vulnerable Americans to emerge from this crisis strong if we don't show our support for them now. That's why we must act.

Thank you for your support.

Stay safe,

Tammy Duckworth
