Hurricane Helene, a massive Category 4 storm, ran through the southeast over the weekend. Millions are without power, bridges and roads have been destroyed, entire towns are underwater, and we can’t be sure how many people survived the disaster.

We don’t know for certain the full extent of Hurricane Helene’s impact, but we do know one thing: If we don’t get the current climate crisis under control, more disasters like Helene are on the way.
