Dear Friend,
Sergio* was only seven when he crossed the brother with his father. After they were forcibly separated by government officials, you made it possible to assign a Young Center Child Advocate who ensured they were reunited.
Aura was four when border officials separated her from her mother at the border. Thanks to you, Aura and her mother were reunited and can apply for protection from the violence they fled.
No child should face this kind of trauma. You ensure that Young Center volunteer Child Advocates and staff are there for immigrant children, making sure they are not alone, fighting to get the children reunited with their families and connecting them with the resources they need to heal.
Your support allows us ([link removed]) to help children like Sergio and Aura. In 2019, you made it possible for us to serve more children than ever before. Thank you!
Please help us continue this work by making a donation today ([link removed]) on the occasion of #GivingTuesdayNow, a global day of giving in response to the unprecedented need caused by COVID-19. Every donation you make towards our goal of $20,000 is doubled today by an anonymous donor.
Thank you so much,
Maria Woltjen
