Hey there, it’s Stacey Abrams. I know you’re probably receiving a lot of fundraising emails right now. But I want to take a moment to explain why you should support my good friend Lisa Blunt Rochester, and make a grassroots contribution to her historic Senate campaign before the FEC deadline.

To start, we know that there’s so much at stake in this election. Democrats are doing everything they can to defend the White House and the Senate, along with flipping the House. MAGA extremists are trying to create a red wave on November 5th and take our country backward.

Not only that, but Lisa’s running to make history by being the first woman and person of color to represent Delaware in the United States Senate. And if she were to win, she’d be the fourth Black woman to ever serve in this body.

But in order to make history, Lisa needs your grassroots support to push her across the finish line. And right now, she’s trying to hit her $200,000 September fundraising goal. With so much on the line, will you chip in $5 or more to help elect Lisa as the next Senator from Delaware?

Now you might be wondering, why should I support Lisa? Well, let me give you a few reasons:

• Lisa has always fought for all Delawareans. Her record in public service, from the statehouse to Congress, is second to none when it comes to helping working-class families. She’s always championed gun reform, lowering everyday costs, voting rights, affordable health care, and so much more.


• Lisa’s opponent, a self-funding millionaire, has written himself checks to keep his campaign going. Moreover, far-right news outlets and activists – Breitbart, Ben Shapiro, and a Tucker Carlson wannabe – have attacked her campaign with ridiculous lies.


• Two: the magic number for Republicans to flip the Senate. And Republicans are desperately trying to flip this seat, and we can’t let them.

To be frank, there’s too much at stake this November. But what Delaware and the rest of America needs is a leader like Lisa Blunt Rochester.
