Ottawa County Unemployment Rate for August 2024

Preliminary unemployment rates for August 2024 were recently released by the Michigan Department of Technology, Management, and Budget. Ottawa County had an unemployment rate of 3.8%. This rate was the fifth lowest among all Michigan counties in August and .3 percentage points lower than July's rate.

Livingston County had the lowest August unemployment rate in Michigan at 2.8%, while Oscoda County had the highest rate at 7.6%.
