Here are just some of the ways we have reached women, men, and children in the most remote corners of the world with top-quality eye care:
* We’ve administered our 100-millionth dose of azithromycin in Ethiopia, an antibiotic that treats an eye disease called trachoma.
* Over the last 10 years, we’ve conducted 12.2 million eye examinations.
* Our latest Flying Eye Hospital projects brought us Mongolia, Zambia, and Vietnam for sight-saving trainings.
* In 2023, we completed 66 eye-saving projects across 11 countries.
* We’ve held specialized training projects in 19 hospitals around the world in 2023.
