It’s time, John:

Voters have begun to cast their ballots, and we’re giving everything we’ve got to mobilize people across the country to vote. And we’re preparing for every post-election scenario in order to keep our fair maps momentum going.

During this final sprint, Attorney General Eric Holder — our greatest fair maps champion — will be leading the charge as we hit the road to connect with and activate voters across the country. That’s why we’re setting a goal to make sure we’re ready for Election Day and beyond. → [link removed]

We’re asking for 11 donors from DC to chip in today. Can you support our grassroots work in the 37 days before the election, and all that’s to come after Nov. 5? → [link removed]

Creating fair maps and building a more representative democracy happens every single day, including in states many of us are watching closely:

• Pennsylvania is the only state in the country with a divided legislature — Democrats hold the House and Republicans the Senate. Both chambers are toss-ups, and Democratic trifecta could give us a route to redistricting reform.

• In North Carolina, extreme politicians passed unfair maps that do not represent the people. The far-right state supreme court rubber stamped them. And one extremist judicial candidate said that he wants to ensure there’s a Republican majority on the court for the next upcoming redistricting cycle.

• Wisconsin’s Republican-drawn, gerrymandered legislative maps were struck down in court earlier this year. That’s a huge win for Wisconsinites, who now have a chance to elect a legislature that reflects the will of the people.

We are able to rally voters, educate supporters, and push elected leaders for fair maps only because of the strength of this grassroots team.

You are an essential partner in this work, John. And your gift today will go toward strengthening our day-to-day work to create fair maps, helping us work strategically and organize relentlessly.
